A recent survey of HR professionals shows that it costs UK companies on average £9,766 to recruit and train a new employee. So it's very important to get it right, and tools such as Thomas can help.

Many businesses suffering financial distress or other difficulties (and that can also include rapid growth!) will rely very heavily on their people to get through this phase, however they are often dysfunctional as teams (and may indeed sometimes be the cause of the businesses predicament!). The Thomas system can significantly aid the process of highlighting these problem areas, ultimately enabling us to focus on ways of resolving them.
Central to the Thomas system is the Personal Profile Analysis (“PPA”), which provides an insight into how people behave at work answering questions such as; What are their strengths and limitations? Are they self-starters? How do they communicate? What motivates them? The PPA system enables people to become aware of their work styles, and thereby also improve the effectiveness of people management through greater understanding of why people behave the way they do.
The power of the PPA increases still further when matched to other Thomas tools such as Job Profiling, which is a profile of the behavioral requirements of a job. With this it can be seen if the individual “fits” the role. Other tools assist in team building and profiling and benchmarking.

The cost of a PPA analysis can be as little as £125 per person, with discounts available for numbers of 4 or more.
